Dialogue in the dark is not an ordinary exhibition; it is an experience that will awaken senses, challenge prejudices and deepen self awareness. This tour was founded in Germany by Dr Andreas Heinecke in 2000.
Dialogue in the darks’ visually impaired guides lead visitors on a journey through a series of darkened galleries created to replicate everyday experiences. Without familiar sigh clues, visitors learn to see with in a completely new way with their non visual senses. It would conclude in a typical HDB coffee shop where visitors will have a conversation with their blind guides. Dialogue in the dark has been presented in 22 countries and 130 cities throughout the world, breaking through stereotypes to promote respect and tolerance in engaging and light- hearted way.
Our visit on 9 April 2011 ( Sat) was an enriching and worthy experience.
