关于克里斯托弗·康博士

Dr Christopher Khng

克里斯托弗·康医生是新加坡的一位资深顾问和白内障手术医生，专长于复杂白内障和前节重建手术，尤其擅长虹膜重建和无虹膜症手术。他的其他专长领域包括复杂晶状体手术、新型晶状体和超声乳化技术、屈光手术、有晶体眼人工晶状体（可植入胶原蛋白晶状体，ICL）以及小切口、局部麻醉超声乳化白内障手术。

他在英国苏格兰阿伯丁大学完成了前两年的医学本科学习，并连续两年名列班级第一。在此期间，他荣获多项学术荣誉，包括莱斯利·杜诺奖、亚历山大·史密斯·卡德诺奖以及蒙代和文恩医学奖。由于经济原因，他最终在新加坡国立大学完成了医学学士学位（MBBS）。.

康医生曾任新加坡国家眼科中心（SNEC）住院医师，后升任副顾问眼科医生。在SNEC工作结束后，康医生曾任新加坡陈笃生医院眼科研究所顾问。.

他还曾担任新加坡亚历山大医院眼科和视觉科学系的客座顾问。.

他获得了新加坡卫生部颁发的卫生人力发展计划 (HMDP) 奖学金，期间在美国接受了世界著名外科医生 Howard Fine 博士、Robert Osher 博士等人的进阶培训。.

2005 年，他因对根据角膜缘尺寸预测晶状体囊袋大小的研究，荣获美国白内障和屈光手术学会 (ASCRS) 年会最佳论文奖。.

Khng 博士还在领先的眼科出版物上撰写和合著了许多同行评审的期刊文章和书籍章节。.

他是新加坡医学会（SMA）会员，美国眼科学会、美国白内障和屈光手术学会（ASCRS）以及欧洲白内障和屈光手术学会（ECSRS）的会员。他于2003年获得新加坡医学科学院（眼科）院士称号。他已在新加坡医学理事会（SMC）注册，并在英国普通医学理事会（GMC）注册，可在英国执业。.

他服役于新加坡武装部队预备役部队，军衔为上尉，隶属于战斗支援医院。他是新加坡在国际飞行眼科医院项目“奥比斯计划”中的眼科医生代表。.
